'A Gentlemen's Guide to Treason' is a charity fanzine about Calroy Cruller, from Dimension 20's A Crown of Candy. Presented as an illustrated etiquette guide, this zine demonstrates 13 rules on how to betray your king and country in the most genteel way possible.
As of September 2021, our project raised and donated a total of $3510.29 for AAPI grassroots collective, Red Canary Song. While our project is complete, the digital pdf is still available for free download at the link above!

This is a themed zine following Calroy Cruller and his relationship to Amethar Rocks, narrated through the format of an illustrated etiquette guide. There are thirteen rules, each with its own full-colour illustrated double-page spread. It's SFW, but there may be depictions of blood, violence, and alcoholism, as it's also canon-compliant. It was released August 1st.
What charity are you donating to? What is Red Canary Song?
Red Canary Song are a grassroots collective of Asian & migrant sex workers, organising transnationally. In the wake of recent events, proceeds from this zine will go to this organisation in an effort to uplift the most vulnerable of our communities, and to stop AAPI hate. What inspired this zine? Why Calroy? Why is he human here?
Because fandom is a creative force of its own! Calroy as a fandom phenomenon is an interesting one to say the least; he has a ton of lore and fanon characterisation that was written and drawn for him despite his little screentime in A Crown of Candy. This zine is a celebration of that; a retelling of canon with more drama, more tragedy, and more gay people!
